1. Who is the test for?

  • School district personnel who need to select school principals from a candidate group
  • Teachers or Assistant Principals who wish to advance to administrative positions
  • Current Principals or Assistant Principals who wish to identify their own personal growth areas

2. How much time is required?

  • The test can be taken on the web immediately upon purchase or within six weeks of the date of purchase
  • On average it takes approximately 4.5 hours to complete all the assessments
  • The test profile folder will be mailed to the test-taker within one week from the time they complete the tests

3. What resources can be used to prepare?

It is not necessary to prepare for the tests. They have been designed to probe experience on the job and decision making and communication skills of educational leadership candidates. However, test takers can “brush up” prior to taking the tests if they choose, for example by visiting the following sites:
